TIM REEVE

Tim has 25 years of experience delivering successful sustainability strategies and plans and stakeholder engagement processes for clients around the world. He is a sought-after facilitator for strategic planning, stakeholder workshops and sustainability planning for organizations wanting to develop insightful and practical strategic business and environmental management plans. Tim is considered a Canadian thought-leader in helping organizations use procurement to advance their organizational sustainability strategies. He has recently led sustainability strategy processes for the Special Olympics, Vancouver International Airport Authority, City of Mississauga and is known for his ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholder groups.

ELLA PLAYFAIR

Ella is a sustainable procurement specialist, with a particular interest in ethical supply chains and fair labour practices. Prior to joining the Reeve Team, Ella worked as an Account Manager at Fairware Promotional Products. There she supported a host of public and private sector business in making more ethical & sustainable purchasing decisions within the sphere of promotional merchandising. Originally hailing from England, Ella began her career in the London non-profit sector where she worked in project management for several social justice and labour rights focused organisations. She also holds a MSc in Public Policy & International Migration, with a specialization in human trafficking, from the London School of Economics. Ella is strategically minded and is passionate about working with clients to advance their sustainability efforts holistically; incorporating environmental, social and ethical elements.

MAIRIN SHIELDS-BROWN

Mairin brings a fresh perspective of sustainability and resource management to the table. She has a proficient understanding of circular economy principles, and experience in a start-up environment implementing circularity into corporate value chain design. Her recent experience in environmental science research at ShareWares, an impact-driven reusable product and service provider in Vancouver B.C., has provided her with a wealth of knowledge in product life cycle analysis, B2B sustainability partnerships, and corporate ESG criteria development. Mairin has experience in freelance creative, academic, and technical writing proses. Mairin is also fluent in French and holds a B.Env in Resource and Environmental Management from Simon Fraser University. She is passionate about greening in the sport community, and consulting businesses and organizations in the sector on opportunities for incorporating sustainable practices in their operations and procurement.

KATIE ALLEN

Katie is an award-winning sustainability and social impact expert with over 6 years of experience. She is the former Sustainability and Social Impact Manager at Fiix, the leading provider of cloud-based maintenance and asset management software, where she pioneered and executed their groundbreaking strategies and programs to achieve B Corp certification. Katie works with companies of all stages to devise ESG strategies, integrate sustainability into procurement processes, and inspire stakeholders through training and communications. A champion of the circular economy, Katie currently serves as a board member for the nonprofit, Impact Zero. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Economics and Policy from the University of Guelph and a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge. In her spare time, she keeps herself busy by exploring the mountains and oceans of BC.

AMANDA CHOUINARD

Amanda is the Program Manager for the Canadian Collaboration for Sustainable Procurement and a Consultant at Reeve. Since joining Reeve in 2019, Amanda has been working closely with multiple public sector clients to jump-start their sustainable procurement programs through policy and tool development, action planning, and training. She comes from five years of diverse experience working both in Ontario and BC for a variety of non-profit, public and consulting organizations all advancing sustainability in their own way. She holds a Masters of Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo where she gained a comprehensive understanding of holistic sustainability trends and practices for the public and private sector. Amanda is keen on helping organizations integrate sustainability to create shared value for society and harnessing the power of collaboration to make the sustainable transition possible.

DARREN STOTT

Darren Stott has 20 years of experience in the retail food industry. After working with Reeve Consulting for several years, Darren went on to start his own firm, GreenChain Consulting, in 2010. Through GreenChain, he primarily supports BC local food initiatives through business development and planning. Darren’s background in sustainable food and retail operations is extensive. He held a management role in Manchester, England for one of the UK’s largest Co-Op retailers and advised on retail analytics for blue chip retailers and manufacturers including Safeway, P&G, and Unilever. Darren also served as SPUD’s Director of Purchasing for 7 years. Darren is a valued partner of Reeve Consulting on food, retail, and Fair Trade projects.
