Reeve Consulting has been appointed as the Social Procurement Facilitator for Lansdowne 2.0, one of Canada’s most ambitious urban redevelopment projects.
About Lansdowne 2.0
Located in the heart of Ottawa, Ontario, Lansdowne 2.0 is a landmark $419 million redevelopment of the iconic Lansdowne Park. The project includes a rebuilt stadium, a new event centre, expanded green space, retail and two residential towers. It is expected to generate 4,900 new jobs and add $590 million to Ottawa’s GDP. It’s considered one of the most ambitious urban redevelopment projects currently underway in Canada.
Our Role
As Social Procurement Facilitator, Reeve Consulting is supporting the City of Ottawa’s Social Procurement Framework on behalf of the General Contractor, EBC Inc. Our work connects contractors and subcontractors with local social enterprises, workforce agencies and diverse-owned businesses. This will help ensure the project’s economic benefits flow back into Ottawa’s communities. We will coordinate working group meetings, support community engagement and lead reporting. Our goal is to make social procurement a seamless part of how this project is delivered.
