2024 Beach Clean Up – What a success!

Reeve Consulting is dedicated to creating a positive impact on our environment, and our recent beach clean-up event demonstrated this commitment in action. We are very happy to continue our partnership for another year with Fairware Promotional Products to host this amazing event that involves the community and our employees.

Some Highlights from the Event:

Strong Turnout:

• This year we had more than 50 participants, a bigger involvement compared to last year.
• We received 56 individual donations to OceanWise. Even some of our friends who couldn’t make it in person donated to show their support for our environment.

Garbage Collection:

• We collected 1235 pieces of garbage in over 20 different categories.
• The total weight of the garbage collected at Kitsilano Beach was over 60kg (133lbs).

Community Spirit:

• The Beach Cleanup this year was 100% donation-based. Reeve Consulting and Fairware added $250 each on top of the community donation, making a total of $500 courtesy donation to OceanWise.
• In total, we donated $1000 this year to OceanWise, a global conservation organization on a mission to build communities that take meaningful action to protect and restore our ocean.

Recognition and Prizes:

Our partner Fairware generously provided gifts for the top groups that collected the most garbage, had the best energy, and had the most creative name. Moreover, all the gifts were sourced and made from sustainable materials, reflecting our commitment to sustainability in every aspect of our work and promoting sustainable knowledge among our friends.

Positive Feedback:

We received an outpouring of positive feedback from participants who expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to give back to the community and the environment. Many noted how rewarding it was to see the tangible impact of their efforts and are looking forward to future events.
